Torney Eglu

Mr. Torney Eglu is our first deputy chairperson. He has BA (Hons) degree in Social Sciences from the University of Cape Coast. He also has a Diploma in Education from the same university.

Torney has certificates in Business Administration; Customer Service; Practical ICY Skills; ACCA Part One; Project Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation; Public Resources Policies to Benefit the Poor; Macroeconomic Management and Poverty Reduction Strategies in Sub-Sahara Africa; and others.

Torney taught in a senior high school in Ghana. He resigned from the teaching field and went to work as a Project Monitoring Officer at the Ministry of Finance.

Torney has years of working experience in the United Kingdom and the Republic of South Africa. In the UK, he embraced the English culture of work ethics and due diligence.

Torney lectured in one of the South African TVET colleges and also acted as the  head of Farm Management Department. His Financial Management subject, which he taught with a high level of competence, won him the award of the best lecturer in the Farm Management Department of the college.

Mr. Eglu, who is currently self-employed in Ghana, is a mentor, motivator and family man.
